Big and Small - Quite a Contrast

The weather this past winter has definately been snowy and cold.  Ray and I have enjoyed time in our studios working on projects.  Making smaller pieces has been a focus for Ray, as a challenge he decided to make the biggest bowl his lathe would handle and here is a picture of it.  The large bowl is 14-1/2" across, the smaller bowl is 1-1/4" across - quite a contrast in sizes.  Both pieces are made in the same style.  The teddy sitting in the large bowl is 5" sitting.  He always amazes me with the pieces he brings in to show me - I never imagined one this large.  Thanks for visiting and have a great day.........
